Unicorns! Unicorns!

 Okay I'll admit it. I am addicted to unicorns and I completely blame My Little Pony on this new found love of them. Every afternoon when my daughter comes home from daycare we watch at least 1 episode of a cartoon. A majority of the time we are watching My Little Pony but lately we've expanded into She-Ra and Ruby Gloom (I'm so in love with this show at the moment). I was originally planning on premiering these pieces at a local festival but since I have time to post I may do it by early September.

Nerdy Cooking with Hello Kitty

 I bought this microwave Hello Kitty Chiffon Cake mold at the Goodwill last month for only $2 and finally got around to making it this week. I have to say I was completely surprised on how well it came out! The directions were fairly simple and it took me less then 15 minutes to throw the batter together in the mold and microwave it for 3 minutes. The recipe fairly simple to alter as well and I think with the simplicity of it I think I will be making cakes more often.

Now if they made a Darth Vader one in the same style I would be set..
